PULVERISED
Pulverised coffee is a specialised, ethnic coffee that is traditionally consumed by people of Turkish, Greek, Lebanese, Arab and other Balkin-region backgrounds. The term 'pulverised' coffee is rarely used other than in trade, and is most often referred to as 'Turkish Coffee'.
Brewing pulverised coffee is normally prepared by boiling both the coffee and water together in a specially designed pot called a Briki or Ibrik. Heating the coffee to just the right point and carefully pouring the coffee into suitable cups are essential to producing the right brew.
In order to achieve the strength of flavour that makes this, such a desirable form of coffee beverage, it is essential that the coffee used is as fine a grind as possible – it needs to feel almost like talcum powder.
Bushells Pulverised coffee is prepared on specially designed milling equipment that creates one of the finest, most even ground coffees available.
The Bushells Pulverised Coffee range includes Greek, Turkish and Lebanese.
The specific green bean blends and the degree to which coffees are roasted are also crucial in producing this special style of coffee and are carefully controlled throughout the process of producing Bushells Pulverised coffees.
Finally, the coffee needs to be packed in a form that locks in all the freshness and aroma, until it can be prepared by you. Bushells Pulverised coffee is available in a distinctive glass jar, and also in a soft refill pack.
